1.Ladies Ladder	Discussion of need and use for singles ladder. It was decided to put an article in the newsletter asking the women members to respond to the question of whether they would prefer to use the SATA ratings or the Singles Ladder to form the Saturday and Rotational Evening teams. The Board will take into consideration the responses and vote on the issue at the next meeting. Please read the newsletter and respond to Charlotte Fowler.	Discussion
2. Treasurer’s Report	The balance is $3,941.42 as of 6-1-09. Claudette made a motion to accept the report. The motion carried.	Passed
3. Women’s Coordinator	Sally announced that there are five women’s teams this summer.	Discussion
4. Mixed League Coordinator	Larry reported that there are 2 mixed doubles teams—(6.5 and 7.5).	Discussion
5.Membership Chair	Toni reported that we have 90 members and new members, Bert and Donna Hill.	Discussion
6. Social Chair	Bonnie said that Courtside Tennis will be the sponsor of the next social, June 27, 2009 which will have an international theme.	Discussion
7. FORPD	1. There will be public meetings regarding the FORPD ten year plan. We need to send thirty people to each of these meetings. Larry will prepare a schedule. This will ultimately help to have the lights installed at Bella Vista High School. 2. The Park district has lost around $350,000 from their budget and they would like the Club to help pay for the electricity at the courts at Miller Park. This will become pertinent in December. The Park District pays around $7.50 per night for court lights. Our court fees will probably increase at that time.	Discussion
8. New business	1. Bonnie would like to purchase court numbers for the inside of the courts at $13 each for a total of $104 plus tax and shipping. 2. Foster argued for a year’s reserve in the Treasury of $3,000.00	Discussion
9. Bella Vista High School	Larry met with Todd Sebastian of Fair Oaks Recreation and Park District (FORPD) and Steve G. of Bella Vista Booster Club. They discussed a possible joint use agreement with Bella Vista High School, FORPD, and Fair Oaks Racquet Club. Larry made a motion to donate six nets to the new courts at Bella Vista, at approximately $1200. Foster seconded it. The motion passed. We hope to install lights at Bella Vista along with the FORPD and some grant money. This will get us the possibility of using the courts at night. As a club who has benefitted from Fair Oaks Community and the Park District, we have a responsibility to give back. The Park District would like to see a Joint Use Agreement between Bella Vista and FORC. Then the public would be able to use the Miller Courts on the weekends. The Bella Vista Booster Club and the tennis teams have asked FORC to help further tennis in our local schools and step up and help the Booster Club. To achieve this goal, FORC has voted to purchase six nets for the new courts at Bella Vista.	Passed
