SATA/USTA Report: Larry said that the SATA had an Interclub Meeting and discussed if the ladies would want to play 3 single matches and 2 double matches on the Saturday Women’s League as the Top Dog Rating System has a problem handling ties. They also agreed that a higher rated player will not be allowed to play on a lower-rated league. Rotational Doubles are not a rated league. There will no longer be distinctions between subs and regulars by SATA. Anyone can play for more than one club and anyone can play on more than one league if they want. SATA will not create a league when only three teams have submitted rosters. The July SATA board meeting has been canceled. The next meeting is in September. |

New Business: Bonnie reported that the Courtside Demo Day will be on July 11. There will be eight pros and four hours of lessons and ball machines. Bonnie advertised this on the Miller courts. A stringing machine will also be there. Fifty people have signed up. Larry had a problem with insurance concerns because FORC is sponsoring it and we do not know if our insurance policy will cover this. Janusz will check to see if we can get a one day policy and Bonnie will check with Courtside to see if they would sponsor it. This would have to be approved by the park district. |

New Business: The Bella Vista tennis courts are under construction. Larry discussed a joint use agreement between Bell Vista and FORC where we would have exclusive use of the courts when they are not used by the school. The Saturday and Sunday SATA leagues could use the Bella Vista courts. They will have six courts which would mean that more than one league could use them at the same time. Larry does not think that the high school would charge us for the courts, but they would expect that the club would provide some maintenance. |
