Larry passed out the agenda and called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. |

Secretary’s Report: Carlene distributed the May minutes. Gail made a motion that we accept the minutes. Steve seconded it and the motion carried. |

Treasurer’s Report: Larry presented the Treasurer’s Report dated June 25, 2008. Bank balance is $3,337.28. Gail made a motion that we accept the Report, Joni seconded it, and the motion carried. |

Vice President’s Report: Larry reported in Mike’s absence. Mike ordered two nets. He will do a walk-through soon with the Park District. It was noted that there is a light out on Court 5. |

Men’s Coordinator Report—Steve said the teams are up and playing. FORC was the only club to submit a roster for the Saturday Men’s 50+ team. Steve will contact those men who were on the roster to see if they want to practice together another day. |

Women’s Coordinator Report—Marty said that the Ladies 4.0 SATA team is undefeated. The USTA Women’s team is in fourth place and will be in the play offs. |

Mixed Doubles Coordinator Report—Larry reported that FORC has three teams and we had two wins Sunday, 6/22/08. |

SATA Report: Gail is unable to attend the meeting on July 9th, so Larry will attend. Larry reported that SATA is looking at different formats, such as a Winter League; also explore the feasibility of a four person team to utilize the parks that have only two courts. Out of the eight courts at Howe, the Park District is talking about destroying three courts to put in a skateboard park and expand the corporation yard on the other.
