Larry passed out the agenda and called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Discussion began with consideration for personal liability (fiduciary) insurance. Do the Board members need this coverage? Investigation will continue. |

Secretary’s Report: Carlene distributed the January minutes. Gail made a motion that we accept the minutes of January 30, 2008. Mike seconded it and the motion carried. |

Treasurer’s Report: Foster presented the Treasurer’s Report dated February 27, 2008. The bank balance is $3,845.33. Marty made a motion that we accept the Report, Joni seconded it, and the motion carried. |

Vice President’s Report: Mike reported that Court 5 has a new net and the pipe has been repaired. Mike will check with the Park District regarding the electric plug by the picnic tables. |

Coordinator’s Report—Marty said that the first Spring SATA match would be Monday, March 3. SATA’s Top Dog rating system seems to be working. SATA e-mailed the instructions for Top Dog. Some SATA teams have no courts or a limited number to contribute. This puts a burden on the smaller clubs. Larry will talk with the small clubs at the next SATA meeting to get their feelings on this matter. |

New Member’s Report: Toni will be printing the rosters soon, and they will be mailed. Please call Toni with your e-mail address if the club does not have it. |

Website Report: Larry suggested that the dates of the socials be deleted from the Website since the dates change sometimes. |

Social Report: Larry and Joni will host the March social. All socials are hosted except November. Please call Joni or Toni if you would like to host November. |

Old business: Newsletter mailing. There are approximately 10 members who would like to receive a newsletter in the mail. The Club will mail the Newsletter to those members. |

SATA: Mike Pruss has been appointed SATA alternate for the Club. |

New business: The Club is looking for an energetic Fair Oaks-resident member who has an interest in community recreation and parks to run for the Fair Oaks Recreational Park District. Please see Larry. |
