Vice President’s
Report: Mike reported that the lights
are working and all nets are installed on Courts 5, 6, 7, and 8, the courts
that we rent. We have a lock box that
contains the key to the storage shed where there are squeegees and
brooms. Please contact Mike for the
combination and the location of the box.
If we lose the key, the Park District charges $50. |

Women’s League
Representative: Marty reported that
the new Women’s League Representative is Sally Kido. The Women’s Saturday Coordinator is Chris
Feusahrens; The Weekday Evening Women’s Coordinator is open. The Weekday Women’s Coordinator is Elaine
Moyer, and the Women’s 50+ Coordinator is Cherie Shimek. The Coordinators will send e-mails to all
possible participants, who will contact the appropriate Coordinator. The Coordinators will organize the teams
using the ladders and the SATA Top Dog Ratings. Teams need to be submitted to SATA by
January 30th; therefore, our cutoff date is January 23rd
to have the teams organized. |

Men’s League
Representative: Steve reported that
all captains will remain in place for the Spring League. Proposed teams are: two Thursday night teams, one Saturday 50+
team, one or two Sunday morning 4-man teams, one Tuesday weekday 60+ 4-man
team. |

Mixed Doubles
Representative: Janusz will meet with
Larry regarding the teams for Spring SATA League |

Social Chair: Joni presented the projected Love All
Tennis Ball budget. We will break
even. If we sell 125 tickets, the Elks
Club will refund the $200 room deposit.
Women’s Holiday Luncheon: Joni
said that the Women’s Luncheon was a big success with 30 women, and she
enjoyed the Pirate Gift Exchange. |

Membership
Chair: Toni said that the club added
25 new members over 2008. Memberships
must be paid by January 23rd in order to play on FORC Spring SATA
teams. The membership application is
on the website, www.forctennis.com.
Dues for a Fair Oaks Resident Single are $35; a family is $50, Associate
memberships are $60 for a single, and $75 for a family. |

New business: Bonnie volunteered to create a poster which
incorporates our website. The poster
will be laminated and will reside in the club acrylic box at the courts. She
also said that if your team wants to have team shirts, she has developed a
FORC logo with Ed DeMongey of Fair Oaks Print
