Socials

Socials are fun events for all members held on a monthly basis. The dates for the Tennis Socials are listed below. Each month a different club member will host the social and determine the theme and format of the event. Socials can be designated for a certain level of play. For example, a Recreational Social is geared for a 3.0 rating, and Competitive Socials are geared for 3.5 - 4.0 players. However, all members are welcome to participate in any Social. Typically, socials are held on Saturday mornings or afternoons, but some socials will be held in the evenings. Allow two hours of court time for a Social, followed by an hour (or so) of food and socializing afterwards. Socials are an excellent opportunity to meet other members of the club in a relaxed and fun setting. All tennis socials are held at the Miller Park courts.

Interested in Hosting a Social in 2010?? Volunteers are always needed to help sponsor and organize social events throughout the year. So, if you have a good idea for a monthly social, or just want to help out, contact Marty Holmes at 967-6709 or email Marty. Marty is our Social Chair for 2010 and she would love to hear from you!

July Summer Fun Social - July 24, 2010...
Come and kick off the summer season at our first International Food Celebration of 2010! Hosted by our international members; Luda Hedger and Janusz Seremak!

Luck O' Lines - March 6, 2010...
Come celebrate the start of the Spring season by joining your fellow FORC members for some tennis fun at the March Spring Fling Social! Reg Carter & Carlene Duran-Costa are hosting with a familiar theme, an original twist on a St. Pat's tennis theme: The Servin' O' the Green.

Valentine's Social - February 13, 2010...
Join our hostesses Patty Blesso and Marty Holmes to shake that winter chill off just in time for Cupid's annual return the next day, they have the perfect warm-up for you: Tennis, of course. Entries will be limited to the first 16 who sign up!

FORC 2010 New Year Event...
No tennis ball? No problem!! Join us instead for the 2010 FORC tennis season kick-off celebration! Come and have a wonderful evening with all your tennis friends, ring in the new year, and help kick-off the new 2010 tennis season!! Just bring your favorite appetizer or hors d'oeuvre -- beverages and entertainment will be provided.
When: Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 6:30 pm.
Where: The Ridge Condominium Clubhouse on Cliffside Lane, Fair Oaks (off Hazel)

Ladies Christmas Luncheon - December 7, 2009...
